In a press release issued in September of 1919, Hamlin-Holmes’ goal was to produce a front-wheel drive car that was equivalent of a Dodge but 10% less than Ford. The Hamlin-Holmes company never accomplished this, and in fact never really got into production, despite assembling a few prototypes for a decade.
